What is the best hotel you have ever stayed in?
According to Travel Leisure’s ‘10 Best City Hotels in Canada’, two Victoria hotels are some of the best in the country!
Every year, the online magazine surveys readers to weigh in on their travel experiences around the globe, to create their World’s Best Awards.
Readers share their opinions on top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines and more.
Now, Travel Leisure has released their ‘10 Best City Hotels in Canada’ list.
British Columbia hotels made up half the list, with 5 of the top hotels in the country in either Vancouver or Victoria. Three of the top hotels were found in Quebec and 2 in Ontario.
The Fairmont Empress, Victoria’s ‘464-room grande dame’ came in third. According to the ranking, one visitor to the hotel said, “My wife and I stayed at the Empress for four days, and it was magical, from the food to the service to the spa attendants.”
The Magnolia Hotel & Spa came in fourth, with one visitor saying, “Every staff member we came in contact with was exceptional. Will be back for sure and have told my friends about it.”
