After performing an “indecent act” in front of a woman walking her dog, Comox Valley RCMP have released a composite sketch of the man who allegedly exposed himself to her.

Just before 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 11th, police received a report of an indecent act in Courtenay, in the area of Ruth Masters Greenway on Powerhouse Road.

An adult woman told police that she was walking her dog in the park when she passed a man along a path. Police say after saying hello to the man, she saw him again a short time later — this time he was performing an indecent act that prompted her to call Comox Valley RCMP.

According to police, the man was seen leaving the area in a small black car.

The suspect has been described by the victim as wearing a short sleeve button up shirt with a beige and yellow floral pattern and loose fitting, knee length beige shorts.

Comox Valley RCMP employed a composite sketch artist to make a rendering of the man with the hopes it would help members of the public identify him.

Police ask that anyone who believes they know the identity of the suspect, call Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321.
