Man found with stab wound to neck in Langford parking lot Thursday

A man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries Thursday morning after he was found in a Langford parking lot with a stab wound to the neck.

Employees a the Floyd’s Diner located the man laying in the parking with a wound to the neck and called 911. When paramedic arrived, he was seen sitting in the stretcher and talking with emergency officials.

West Shore RCMP confirmed in an email that they were called to the 700 block of Station Avenue in Langford this morning for a report of a man who was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.

“This is an on-going investigation and further details are not available at this time,” said West Shore RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Nancy Saggar.

Details on the man’s injuries and how he obtained them were not released.

“For the record I cannot confirm how the injuries were obtained, only that they were non-life threatening and the male was taken to the hospital for care.”

Victoria Buzz has reached out to BC Emergency Health Services to confirm the injuries.
