Multiple suspects sought after nine vehicles found damaged in Langford

West Shore RCMP are looking to identify multiple suspects after a series of vehicle vandalisms in Langford this week.

On Monday, October 9th, nine vehicles were discovered to have sustained damage of varying degrees in the 1000 block of Grob Court.

At around 3:40 a.m., West Shore RCMP responded to reports of vandalism. According to police, officers established a containment perimeter and conducted an extensive search, but the suspects had already left the area.

One local resident reported being awakened by the sound of loud banging and ventured outside to assess the situation. They observed two to four males entering separate vehicles before speeding away.

One of the suspects used bear repellent on a witness as they fled the scene.

West Shore RCMP’s investigation is ongoing, and they are urging residents in the vicinity to review their home surveillance footage recorded between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. on October 9th.

Suspect descriptions:

  • The suspects are believed to be 2-4 males.
  • One of the suspects was seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie and hat.
  • The suspects fled in two separate vehicles, one dark-colored and the other light-colored.

Following the incident, West Shore RCMP strongly advised against approaching potential suspects, as it can pose risks.
