Saanich Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing teenager who went missing during cold snap.

17-year-old Tyson Albany was last seen around 3:30 pm on Thursday, January 11th, near Gorge Vale Golf Course.

Police describe Albany as standing 5’10 tall, weighing 160 lbs with slim build. He has black hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.

Albany was last seen wearing a black sweater, sweatpants, and black and white Nike shoes. He may also have a black backpack.

“We are concerned for Tyson’s well-being as he has not been heard from, and this is out of character for him,” said Saanich Police Sgt. Damian Kowalewich in a release Saturday.

“We are working with Tyson’s family and other agencies to locate him but encourage any tips from the public,” he said.

Anyone who has seen Tyson since Thursday, or who may have information on his whereabouts, is asked to contact Saanich Police at 250-475-4321.
