RCMP in the Okanagan region have expanded their search for a 27-year-old individual wanted in connection to an assault and mischief incident in Kelowna in 2023.
Darius Konefall-Townsend, labeled by the police as a “violent offender,” is being sought by police, with the focus of the investigation now extending to Vancouver Island.
Nanaimo RCMP has issued a public appeal, urging assistance in locating Konefall-Townsend.
According to police reports, there is reason to believe that the accused may have established residency and employment in Nanaimo.
Konefall-Townsend is described as a Caucasian man, standing 5’11” tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds.
He has brown hair, hazel eyes, and is said to be associated with a white pickup truck bearing BC license plates marked VL1967, identifiable by the presence of ladders attached to the vehicle’s roof.
