Update: The lockdown at James Bay Community School was lifted Friday morning after Victoria police arrested a break-and-enter suspect after receiving a tip from a member of the public.

James Bay Community School has been placed under hold-and-secure as police actively search the James Bay area for a man and woman who may be linked to a break-and-enter.
The school was placed in hold-and-secure out of an abundance of caution while officers were actively searching for the pair Friday morning.
In a tweet, police initially said they were looking for one suspect and described him as a white male, 5’5 tall, with a medium build, dark hair and stubble who’s wearing black jeans, a T-shirt and skateboard shoes.

They later tweeted that they were also searching for a white female, about 20-25 years old, 5’8″ with shoulder length dirty blonde hair. It is possible she is carrying several bags.
