Ladysmith RCMP are seeking witnesses as they investigate an early morning shooting incident.
On February 18th, officers were notified that an unoccupied vehicle was shot at while parked at a residence on Stz’uminus First Nations.
Investigators have been actively collecting evidence onsite with the assistance of the RCMP Forensic Identification team.
Police report that a number of the investigative tasks have been completed and they are now turning to the public for their assistance in the continuation of evidence retrieval.
“We are limited with the details we can release at this time in order to protect the identity of the investigation,” said Sergeant Tim Desaulniers, acting officer in charge of the Ladysmith RCMP.
It is because of this that no further details have been provided at this time.
