If you’re looking for a quiet and inspirational place to sit down and write, Small Gods Brewing in Sidney is the place for you!
Every Wednesday they host a drop-in writers group where people will come and work as well as enjoy a delicious beer.
There’s no drop-in fee or registration required—just show up with your creative cap on!

UVIC Café Scientifique at Hermann’s Jazz Club

The topic will be centred around “The big chill: Global glaciation and the rise of animal life”, and will discuss connections between global climate, the solid earth and biosphere.
