Now only two days into the beloved 48th annual Greater Victoria Flower Count, the competition is already off to a great start!
On Thursday, GVFC took to Facebook, applauding the impressive start made by those residing in Sidney, “In perhaps the most impressive start in #FlowerCount history, the Town of Sidney came out in full bloom today counting over 303 million blooms! WOW!”
With only five days remaining, the Town of Sidney currently takes the lead with over 600 million blooms counted, followed by Saanich in second and North Saanich in third place.
For those that are still interested in participating in the count, organizers want the public to know there is still plenty of time to share your colourful snaps!
