A dog believed to have been is now in good hands after being seized by RCMP on Tuesday.
Now, the Port Alberni RCMP have taken on the task of finding the dog’s rightful owners.
In a media release April 11th, Port Alberni RCMP said they were tipped off about the theft.
“Through our investigation thus far we have been unable to locate the owner,” said Cst. Richard Johns.
“We can understand how difficult it would be for someone to lose a family member like this cute little guy and would like to get him back home.”
Port Alberni RCMP are working with the BC SPCA to ensure that he is safe, and comfortable while his family is located.
Anyone who knows the owner of the pup is asked to contact the Port Alberni RCMP at 250-723-2424.
