Vancouver Island band, Mother Mother, made their US television debut on the Late, Late Show with James Corden on Thursday, June 11th.

The popular Canadian band is promoting their newest album, Inside, as well as celebrating their success on the popular app, TikTok.

Noted in the interview with Late Late Show host James Corden, the band was surprised to see their success on the app, as singer, Jasmin Parkin, didn’t even know what TikTok was.

Mother Mother debuted in 2005 at the behest of singer Ryan Guldemond.

The band is currently based in Quadra Island, near Campbell River. They have eight studio albums and have been a mainstay in the Canadian music scene since their first official album release in 2007, Touch Up.

The band has been topping Canadian alternative and rock music charts since their song, O My Heart, in 2008.
