3 Vancouver Island eateries listed among contenders for top 10 best new restaurants in Canada

Air Canada just unveiled their list of contenders for this year’s Top 10 Canada’s Best New Restaurants designation, and three of them may look familiar to Vancouver Islanders!

To come up with this list of 35 nominees, Air Canada sent one writer on a month long cross-Canada anonymous dining expedition based on the recommendations of a diverse new panel of food experts.

Based on their findings, the company has come up with a list of nominees for the best up and coming eateries in the Canadian food scene.

And among them are three new restaurants on Vancouver Island – House of Boateng in Victoria, Nowhere *A Restaurant in Victoria, and Pluvio in Ucluelet.

Canada’s Best New Restaurants 2019 highlights the top restaurants that have opened across the country over the last 12 months and deliver exceptional experiences through the quality of their food, level of service and commitment to culinary creativity.

The top 10 restaurants will be revealed on October 24th, 2019.
